This book is divided into 10 chapters. Based on Collections of Modern Chinese Literary Periodical Catalogue, it respectively sorts out the Russian, English, Japanese, French, American, German, and other European and Asian literary theories in modern Chinese literary periodicals, 276 of which were comprehensively retrieved, organized, counted and analyzed. It aims to represent the translation of foreign literary theories in modern Chinese literary periodicals in 1915-1949, analyzes the characteristics of the translation of different countries' literary theories in modern China and their multiple influences on modern and contemporary Chinese literature and theories. Therefore, it has a significant academic value.  

Ms. Shen Suqin, the Associate Professor of School of Translation and Interpretation, Beijing Language and Culture University, was a postgraduate of Beijing Foreign Studies University majoring in British and American Literature and a postgraduate of the University of Queensland majoring in Applied Linguistics. She was a translator for UNESCO, an anchorperson of New Dynamic English of CCTV-10. Ms. Shen gained the title of Outstanding Young Teacher of Beijing Higher Education in 1996 and won the First Prize of Excellent Teaching Award, Beijing Language and Culture University in 2006.
